Democrats Serve PAC Endorses Will Rollins for Congress (CA-41)
National organization plans to actively support U.S. House Candidate Will Rollins, highlighting his background as a federal prosecutor.
Milford, Conn. (May 18, 2023) — Today, Democrats Serve announced that it is endorsing Will Rollins for Congress in California’s 41st District. Democrats Serve is a national organization that elects Democrats with unique public service backgrounds.
Brett Broesder, the PAC’s executive director, said that Rollins's public service background, serving as a federal prosecutor focused on counterterrorism and counterintelligence, makes him an excellent example of someone with the experience necessary to deliver results in Congress.
“Will Rollins knows public service,” said Broesder. “As a federal prosecutor, he worked tirelessly to keep Riverside County families safe. He’ll continue leading the charge in Congress to keep our communities safe and secure. That’s why Democrats Serve is proud to support Will Rollins’s congressional bid in California’s 41st District.”
Rollins said he’s proud to receive Democrats Serve’s endorsement.
“I’m thrilled that Democrats Serve is standing with our campaign,” said Rollins. “Public service is core to my family’s story, and is my life’s calling. Unlike my opponent Ken Calvert, I’m not running to enrich myself or line the pockets of big donors. I’m running to bring change to our Riverside County communities, and when I get to Congress, I’ll do the same thing I’ve done throughout my career: defend you and your family from hate, extremism, and corruption.”
Rollins has had an enormously successful campaign launch, including raising over $350,000 in his first 24 hours and receiving endorsements from 30 members of the California delegation, including Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi and all 3 Democratic U.S. Senate candidates.
California’s 41st District is in Riverside County, including Corona, Menifee, and Palm Desert. In 2022, Will Rollins came within 4.6 points of defeating Republican Ken Calvert, who currently holds the seat. In 2020, President Biden came within 1.3 points of defeating Donald Trump in this district. Cook’s Political Report has rated the race as one of the most competitive in the country for 2024.
